DISCOVERING
THE IMBALANCES THAT KEEP US OUT
OF "BODY-MIND-SPIRIT" HARMONY

What
is kinesiology ?
Kinesiology is the science of movement, of fluidity
of the body and mind.
This therapeutic method for well-being was imported from the
United States in the 80s.
It is a synthesis of very ancient experiences mainly stemming
from Chinese medicine,
mingled with more recent discoveries.
Kinesiology helps to dissolve physical, emotional and mental
blockages through body dialogue using muscle testing to discover
the source of imbalance and to find the most appropriate solutions.
The principle is that the body holds memory of the whole information
on its own history,
and that the very person can choose to change in order to find
their balance.

PROCEEDINGS
OF THE WORKSHOP: INTRODUCTION TO KINESIOLOGY
(2 DAILY SESSIONS OF 4 HOURS EACH)
We come into contact with the natural energy of our body through
a simple muscle test of great accuracy.
Using this test, we can assess the impact of various factors
on our vital energy: nutrition, posture, social and emotional
environment, stress ... and we correct the energy balance by
means of various techniques.
DAY
1 - ACCURATE MUSCLE TESTING - PRE-TESTS
DAY
2 - EXPLORING KINESIOLOGY'S VARIOUS APPROACHES AND TECHNIQUES
- Touch for Health: Developed from the work of Dr. John Thie.
Through movement (kinesis) of the muscles that we are testing,
we learn how to read (logos) the language: Body - Emotion -
Mind - Energy.
- 3-in-1 Concept: Created by 3 people: Gordon Stokes, Daniel
Whiteside and Candace Callaway in the USA, the 3-in-1 Concept
represents the integration of body, emotion and mind together.
A synthesis of Kinesiology (muscle testing), morpho-psychology
(structure-function features) and communication skills with
age recession, de-fusion and other tools.
In addition, using the behavioural barometer allows us to work
with emotions in 3 levels: Conscious-Subconscious-Body, and
to become aware of emotional states in which we are trapped
because of a specific issue, in order to move on towards freedom
of choice.
- Brain Gym (Educational Kinesiology): "Movement is the
gateway to learning, life is movement." Dr. Paul Dennison.
Brain Gym is a method, a tool consisting of simple playful movements
to enable all learners, whatever their age, to rediscover their
learning potential.
These techniques represent a rewarding professional complement
for teachers, psychotherapists, speech therapists, sport coaches,
educators, corporate trainers, psychomotor therapists, and also
for parents wanting to facilitate their children's learning
process.
Following this introduction, the core courses listed above can
be taught.

AIM
It
aims at creating a state of balance by taking into account three
aspects of the person that are constantly interacting:
- The emotional aspect: our emotions permeate through all of our
physical and psychological behaviors in reaction to the environment.
- The physical and structural aspect: bones, muscles and fascia
shape up the person's appearance and determine their posture and
gestures;
- The biochemical or nutritional aspect: breathing, digestion,
elimination, endocrinology.
As a result of these interactions, we can observe the following:
- Stress can cause imbalance in one of the above systems and,
as a consequence, all the systems.
There are innumerable causes of stress.
- Solving a problem in one system can solve a problem in another
system. |
ACTION
The
cause of a trouble must be treated according to the person.
Finding out the cause of a trouble means finding out the original
stress that has been forgotten, but whose trace is involved in
the person's programming.
This programming conditions all of the person's physical and emotional
behaviours (programmings are tributary of genetic inheritances
and of various conditionings specific to each individual).
Each person carries within specific causes and antidotes for his
or her problems.
With the muscle testing method, the pioneers of Kinesiology have
discovered a means to reach the considerable sum of information
memorized in a human being. |

THE TOOLS OF KINESIOLOGY
1) Muscle testing.
The muscle testing method evaluates the quality of locking point,
and not the muscle's strength. It is painless and must be practiced
on healthy muscles.
The practitioner enter in relation with the person's structural,
biochemical and psycho-emotional systems in order to detect the
causes of imbalances and their antidotes.
The principle is simple. There exist a simple relation between
a state of stress and muscle tonus.
The word "stress" describes the whole of reactions of
a person's organism facing a new situation. This can be due to
a shock, to a change in the person's social, emotional, climatic
situation, to an accident, or to a change in dietary intake, etc.
The muscular system is interdependent of the whole organism. When
a person undergoes negative stress, he or she can be aware of
slight muscular disruptions, such as tremor, contraction or softening.
When you experience a situation that reminds you of a stressing
event, even a very old one, your body reacts with an absence of
articular locking, a symptom of faltering neuromuscular answer.
This relationship between this present or past state of stress
and the muscular tonus, kinesiologists propose a number of protocols
under the form of questionnaires. Answers to the questions are
exclusively obtained by means of muscle testing. The muscle's
answer may be strong or weak, corresponding to a state of no-stress
or stress, or again to "yes" or "no" in relation
with the question asked to the patient.
Muscle testing makes it possible to reach this considerable sum
of information in a selective manner - in other words, solely
according to the problem at stake.
2) Adjustments by means of Kinesiology
When the cause has been found, the kinesiologist can appy adjustments
in your energy or in your psyche, to mobilize the deep strength
of body and mind, and to organize them in a synergism that will
enhance your well-being.
These adjustments are issued from a synergism of three concepts:
- energy rebalancing processes based on Chinese medicine;
- co-ordination and synchronization of right and left brain hemisphere,
by means of limb movements;
- stress defusing, by applying neurophysiological concepts.
This process respects the individual that becomes the partner
of his or her own recovery and remain master of the transformation
operating in himself or herself.
This transformation can involve physical health or any aspect
of the individual's personality.
CONCLUSION
Kinesiology is a means to tests and correct imbalances in the
whole body system.
The list of problems that it can help to relieve is very long.
In the domain of health and prevention: relief and reduction of
muscle pain, articulation pain and slight physical uneasiness.
Professional skills and school learning: creativity, fear of losing,
concentration, improvement of results, learning difficulties,
dyslexia, fatigue.
Sports and leisures: increased performances, potential to be developed,
finding new resources, better physical wellness.
Personal growth: life management, self-esteem, realization of
objectives, emotional management, personal evolution, creativeness,
adaptability, well-being, new behaviors... |
